Six in 10 caregivers are employed at some point while providing care and the majority of working caregivers report having to make workplace accommodations, such as cutting back their hours, turning down promotions and taking time off. Female caregivers are most likely to report these kinds of negative impacts on their career, according to AgingCare.

Understanding Behaviors - Live Virtual Presentation

Caring for a Person Living with Dementia can be difficult whether you are a family member or a health care professional. This workshop will be discussing reasons to help you understand why a behavior may occur and also provide strategies to prevent behaviors. These tips and strategies will make caregiving or interacting with a person living with dementia more enjoyable, not only for the person living with Dementia, but also for you!
