What was the catalyst for founding eWorks?
To provide jobs and jobs training for differently abled adults.
Where can I take my electronics for recycling?
There are multiple locations in the Western suburbs, our main building is at 1480 S. Wolf rd in Wheeling.
Can I arrange a collection event in my community or with my company?
We can do a general pickup at any company sponsored event. Community events need to be coordinated with local Municipalities as each town has their own rules. Company events are free and can happen as many times as we need to.
How many individuals living with disabilities is eWorks able to employ?
Eworks employs 48% differently abled employees.
How does an individual living with disabilities get considered for employment?
Our teams come from job training candidates that are currently working thought Schools and the NSSEO.
What is something you wish everyone knew about your organization?
What I wish everyone knew is that our mission is to provide jobs and job training to differently abled adults. We are certified in data security and so are all of our partners. For every 100K pounds of electronics we can sustainably source we can add one new person to our payroll.
